Instrumentation
The instrumentation and process control demonstrator allows a detailed study of various instrumentation and control methods that can be studied individually or as a system. Various instruments are used for measurement and while each device is used in a loop configuration the arrangement allows flexibility for various methods of control. Flow, temperature, level, and pressure measurements are available for a detailed study and the demonstrator has ready "space" for additional instrument mounting and connection to the process loops and monitoring device. The fundamentals of instrumentation can be studied with a visual reference to increase the understanding of how instrumentation and controls perform. The following instruments are provided on the demonstrator.
